We love living in the countryside and spending as much time as possible outside: cooking, eating, drinking, washing, gardening and of course general relaxation. Inland Salento has a lot of rural properties because it is cultivated with olive groves, vineyards, orchards, wheat fields and Mediterranean vegetables.

Most of the simpler properties were originally built to house the family for the summer-long tobacco harvest while grand Masserie once housed whole agricultural communities made up of many different families. Gradually locals are waking up to the fact their rural houses make attractive holiday homes for foreigners and northern Italians and we are seeing more movement in the market.

Most of our rural properties are in need of restoration. They nearly all have at least an acre of land which needs a minimum of upkeep throughout the year. We can help you manage restoration, maintenance and rentals of your rural property.
