On a tranquil country lane just 2km from the Ionian cost are these traditional 'pajara' structures - Salento's answer to the 'trulli' further north in Puglia.

There are two existing buildings. The larger is comprised of 2 rooms (see main pic). One of these rooms needs structural work on the external wall.

The second building is a single room located approx 80m from the main trulli. (see top pic 2nd on the right). Both buildings are in need of restoration.

The surrounding land contains a mix of olive and fruit trees and is bordered by an old dry stone wall.

The property has mains electrics running along the lane (see top pic far right). It also has an old water cistern.

The property lies just a couple of km from the coastal town of Santa Maria al Bagno where there are a selection of good restaurants. The old port town of Gallipoli is just a few more km along the coast. Lecce, the capital of Salento, is approx 20 mins by car.
